Mary Louise Donovan-Urquhart

 

Mary Louise Donovan-Urquhart was born in Perth, Western Australia. She was educated at Sacred Heart High School, Perth, and studied photography at Nedlands College of Advanced Education, with Patrick Maher, before graduating with an Associate Diploma of Recreation in 1979.

In 1996, she graduated from Edith Cowan University with a Bachelor of Arts.

Her main leisure pursuits are walking her dog ‘TJ’, movies, people, reading, music, gardening and spending time with her grandchildren – Jeremy (15), Sarah (13) and Elise (11).

Mary is the author of numerous books of poetry, prose and photography, including those shown below, which depict famous West Australians in portrait and prose.
